In Spain, a wide array of events, including performances, exhibitions, music, K-beauty, and Korean cuisine, will be presented throughout the year.

KOREA SEASON

Korea Season is one of the core projects of the Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE), designed to introduce diverse aspects of Korean culture and arts to new strategic countries around the world. Through this initiative, Korea aims to expand the global influence of its culture and establish a long-term foundation for enhanced cultural exchange between the two countries. Various programs, including performances, exhibitions, and cultural events, will be held in Spain to build and expand the cultural and artistic exchange between Korea and Spain.

KOFICE

KOFICE is an institution designated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea to oversee international cultural exchange. It carries out a wide range of projects aimed at promoting Korean culture and fostering meaningful exchange across borders. To promote cultural exchange beyond national borders, KOFICE carries out various initiatives, including support for both private-private and public-private international exchange, the establishment of domestic and global exchange networks, conducting research and studies, and the development of cultural exchange professionals.

When is the main event of Korea Season 2025?
The highlight of Korea Season 2025 will take place on Friday, July 4, at the Matadero Theater in Madrid, Spain, featuring a Korean dance performance.
